PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. IT SETS OUT THE TERMS UNDER WHICH HAUTE HATS OFFERS YOU USE OF ITS HATS. BY HIRING A HAT FROM HAUTE HATS YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THEY SHALL APPLY TO YOUR USE.
This Agreement is made between you and Haute Hats Company.
The following terms and conditions apply:

HIRE TERMS (CONDITIONS OF HIRE)
1.1 The hat(s) remain the property of Haute Hats at all times.
1.2 The full hire fee of the hat is payable on reservation.
1.3Hats are hired per occasion. Hire periods usually last three days or four over a weekend (Friday to Monday).
Once a hat has been taken for hire it is considered a hire even if not worn and there will be no refund.
1.5 Haute Hats reserves the right to make substitutes without prior warning for any article that may be unavailable.
1.6 Haute Hats will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver due to circumstances which are out of its control; or for any damage or injury caused by the misuse of the Company’s property.
1.7 The liabilities of the hirer commence at the time the hired hat(s) are collected from our premises or other location agreed by Haute Hats, and continue until they are returned to the premises or a representative of Haute Hats.
1.8 Cancellation policy: The full hire fee will be refunded for cancellations made 14 days before the hire date. The full hire fee will be retained for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the hire date.

BILLING
2.1 When you hire a hat you will be required to provide Haute Hats with accurate, complete and current credit or debit card information for a valid credit or debit card that you are authorized to use.
2.2 By signing up for the Service, you authorize Haute Hats to bill your credit or debit card the applicable fees, per-item or borrowing fees, courier charges, any and all applicable taxes, and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the Service. The applicable fees will be charged to your credit or debit card on the date your hire is made.
2.3 If your hat is not returned on the due return date agreed when the purchase was made, Haute Hats will charge your credit card for each overdue day, at the rate set for that hat as stated by Haute Hats , until a return date has been agreed by the customer and Haute Hats are notified by the courier company.
2.4 Haute Hats may modify the price, content, or nature of the Service at any time. We may provide notice of any such changes by email, or by publishing them on the Site.
2.5 Damage to property: If damage exceeds normal wear and tear, as determined by Haute Hats in its sole discretion, you agree that Haute Hats may charge/invoice you for the full cost of replacing the hat as well as charge you the full amount of any lost earnings or incurred costs resulting from the damage. The product replacement fee will vary depending on the specifics of each hat and its amount is to the full discretion of Haute Hats.

HAT CARE AND HIRE RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 Weather is the enemy of the hat and although we appreciate it is beyond control, please care for the hired hat in the rain as you would if it was your own. Keep it under an umbrella at all times when it is raining and be aware of certain fabrics and features of hats being more susceptible to weather damage in bad conditions. Haute Hats reserves the right to retain the full deposit if the item is returned marked or damaged in any way. This includes but is not limited to holes, dents, stains and rain marks. Credit or debit card details will be taken as a form of deposit and will only be deducted accordingly after discussion with the hirer and Haute Hats.
3.2 Under no circumstances are customers to attempt to clean any hats themselves by any means. If done so Haute Hats reserves the right to invoice for part or full replacement value of the items and charge you the full amount of any potential lost earnings or incurred costs regardless of whether any damage has been caused.
3.3 If the hat is damaged beyond repair, lost or stolen then the full purchase price would be paid by the hirer. The replacement cost will be determined by Haute Hats.
3.5
Should a previous hirer not return a hat you have booked to hire or it is damaged, Haute Hats will endeavour to find a good and suitable replacement. A direct replica style and colour cannot be guaranteed. Liability is limited to the return of the hire charge if a suitable alternative is not available.
3.6 All original hat boxes must be returned with the hat hired. Customer will be liable to a £15 charge to cover the cost of replacing any hat boxes not returned.

4.1 This privacy policy sets out how Haute Hats uses and protects any information that you give Haute Hats when you use this website or hire a hat. Haute Hats is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. You can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
